I recently watched this video and thought it was great. I love dove campaigns because they always give you something to talk about, as a company they stray away from what is considered to be traditional marketing and open up new avenues for people to really think. And this ad really did that!
David Wethey is the owner of Agency Assessments and has been in the industry for 40 years. He came to speak at our uni about his new book which has just been recently published called Decide: better ways of making better decisions. Everything he spoke about on the day was so interesting and got me thinking about the importance of decision making that i had never done before so i bought his book and i would recommend everyone to get it.
I created the logo for my team bright red. The Bright Red is a team that focuses on anlysing travelling brand websites based on business organisations such as British Airways.
We also made a twitter page to promote Dave Chaffey coming to our uni. The twitter page was meant to get a high foot fall at the event. https://twitter.com/BrightRed123
My two week placement at Berkeley PR during the easter break was brilliant i enjoyed every minute of it and i learnt so much. I didn’t know what to expect since that was my first placement but everyone at Berkeley were very inviting and made you feel comfortable.
A few of the tasks I did in my two weeks:
– I learnt how to use Gorkana database.
– I made coverage boards
– I had to listen to an interview and put that in bullet points in order for me to write a word response to questions that Amy Stevens (Account Manager) needed for her client.
– I put together an excel table for upcoming PR awards that would be relevant for their clients.
